Hope House is a 70-bed transitional housing facility located just
one block from Atlanta City Hall in downtown Atlanta.
Hope House fills a critical gap in the efforts to assist homeless
men by providing affordable housing and support services through a supportive housing approach. Hope House
is home to individuals in two distinct phases of moving away from homelessness. The Phase One
portion of the building houses men in the earliest steps of this transition, primarily individuals
beginning or already in substance abuse treatment programs. The Phase Two portion of the building
is home to men who are committed to a long-transitional program with a strong recovery component. Phase Two
residents are employed and pay rent. Hope House uses a realistic and feasible strategy to assist
homeless men in obtaining steady employment, preparing for permanent housing, developing positive
family relationships and pursuing their long-term goals.
