Huntington Court is an 152-unit “independent living” community constructed exclusively for active elderly persons (age 62 years and older). It is in the city of Buford, ideally located within a short distance of the Mall of Georgia and other retail developments. The property contains a single, 3-story building with 122 residences, as well as 30 units in single-story cottages. The property features a unit mix of spacious 1 bedroom/1 bath, 2 bedroom/1 bath, and 2 bedroom/2 bath units with set asides for persons earning at or below 30%, 50% and 60% of the area median income, as well as a 20% set aside for market rate tenants.

The property offers a variety of common amenities designed to meet the needs of elderly persons including a large covered porch, equipped fitness center, large multipurpose room, library/computer center, beauty salon, community gardens, picnic area, and significant landscaping. The property also offers several on-site services such as social and recreational, wellness/healthcare and transportation services.

The development was financed with Low Income Housing Tax Credits syndicated by MMA Financial, a first mortgage with MMA Financial, and a Gwinnett County HOME loan. PRI partnered with Norsouth to develop the property and PRI and The IMPACT! Group are the co-owners of the property.
