Bruce co-founded PRI in 1988, and served as its President from 1989-1998. After three years as a partner in The Urban Group, a private real estate development firm, Bruce returned to the helm of PRI late in 2001. Prior to PRI, Bruce was a partner in an investment management practice that he founded in 1984, and, before that, a commercial lender with Wachovia Bank. Bruce earned an M.B.A in Finance from George Washington University, after receiving his B.S. degree from Georgia Tech. In 1996, Bruce was a Fannie Mae Fellow at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, followed by a similar fellowship at the Harvard Business School in 2006. He has served as Chair of the BeltLine Affordable Housing Advisory Board; Chair of the Mixed-Income Communities Initiative (“MICI”); Chair of the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and on the Board of the Georgia Conservancy. He is currently Vice Chair of the Terwilliger Center for Workforce Housing and is a member of The Carter Center Board of Councilors and a member of the Medici Center Board of Directors.”
Lorraine (Lorri) MillsBefore joining PRI early in 1997, Lorri spent sixteen years a commercial real estate lender, first as a construction lender beginning in 1981 with a regional bank in Houston, Texas, and then with Citicorp Real Estate, Inc. in Atlanta. She then worked for seven years as a permanent lender in the Real Estate Division of Travelers Insurance Company. Prior to entering banking, Lorri earned a B.A. degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley; she did her graduate work in the Ph.D. program in American History at the University of Texas in Austin, and taught American History at Southwest Texas State University for several years. Lorri has been on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity affiliates since 1992, and serves on the Boards of Directors of several other non-profits. At PRI, she coordinates among all three PRI divisions and manages PRI’s overall operations.
Reed MarillReed brings a wealth of experience in asset management and finance to PRI, having worked in the field for over 20 years. Most recently, Reed was an asset manager for Lane Company, responsible for a portfolio of over 3,000 multi-family units. He has also served as the Chief Financial Officer for two development companies in Atlanta, and has experience in structuring complex financial transactions for all types of commercial real estate. Reed has a B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. in Finance from Emory University.
