Progressive Redevelopment, Inc. ("PRI") is committed to improving the quality of life for low-income families and communities by developing and managing decent affordable housing and by providing support services that promote personal and economic self-sufficiency.

Company Profile

PRI is one of the leading nonprofit developers of affordable housing in Georgia. Founded in 1987, PRI has developed or currently has under development over 3,400 units comprising a wide range of affordable housing that serves more than 7,000 households across the state of Georgia, and in South Carolina. Whether it is a supportive housing SRO in downtown Atlanta, an historic building adaptive re-use, new construction of affordable apartments for seniors, or a large multifamily apartment complex, PRI specializes in public-private partnerships and multi-layered financing.

Founded as a neighborhood-based nonprofit, PRI remains loyal to its roots, recognizing the importance of community linkages. Because of this, wherever possible, PRI partners with community-based organizations. In addition, we have worked closely over the years with public and private entities such as the state, county and city in which a property is located, as well as the local business community, the Federal Home Loan Bank, commercial banks, foundations, and local leaders. Our partnership roster is long and diverse, giving us credibility in both corporate boardrooms and community halls.

PRI is composed of three divisions: Project Development, Property Management (PRISM Realty Management) and Resident Services (CaringWorks), PRI's program of on-site resident support services.
